Member of the storage team of Google's Air gapped Cloud.
Main responsibilities include designing and implementing storage components, including DR mechanisms and security features, in cloud storage using Kubernetes.
Built an IP filtering system using Envoy’s proxy WASM extension in Rust that included a bloom filter and a custom trie to store IP addresses, exponentially improving storage requirements over Rust’s native Hash Map.
Worked on Linux XDP programs (C and Go) attempting to apply network layer 2 policies and to log activity.
Worked on building a system that can run machine learning applications without exposing personally identifiable information.
My work revolved around figuring out how to run Kubernetes components inside Intel SGX using the Graphene (since renamed) and Marblerun frameworks.
Explored the Istio service mesh and the Envoy proxy identifying opportunities to improve distributed client-side load balancing.
Led teams to design and deploy infrastructure solutions using Linux, Solaris and VMware in time-sensitive and multi-vendor environments.
Started a new Linux system programming service. Automated infrastructure management using C, Python and Bash.
